Aerospace engineering is the primary field of engineering concerned with the development of aircraft and spacecraft. It has two major and overlapping branches of Aeronautical engineering and Astronautical Engineering. Aerospace Engineers deals with the design, development, testing and production of aircraft and related systems like missiles, rocket propulsion systems, space-shuttles etc. We will train our students to develop new technologies for use in aviation, defense systems, and spacecraft. They often specialize in areas such as aerodynamic fluid flow; structural design; guidance, navigation, and control; instrumentation and communication; robotics; and propulsion and combustion. Aerospace engineers often become experts in one or more related fields: aerodynamics, thermodynamics, materials, celestial mechanics, flight mechanics, propulsion, acoustics, and guidance and control systems. Aerospace Engineers will get the opportunity to work in HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Limited), DRDO (Defense Research and Development Laboratories), Air India, Tata Advanced System, Mahindra Aerospace, Taneja Aerospace, Pawan Hans Helicopters, ADA (Aeronautical Development Agency), ADE (Aeronautical Development Establishment), NAL (National Aerospace Laboratories ) and etc.
